Christmas is over … at last
When you work in retail you soon discover that Christmas is the time of year when everyone can be as nasty as they like to retail workers, apparently. Especially the week before. The week before Christmas you can’t even turn around without demolishing someone’s favorite holiday.
It’s ridiculous. Everyone prepares for months in advance and then the day comes and it’s over in twenty-four hours. I can’t be the only person who thinks it should be toned down a bit.
Ah well.
I have over a thousand pages of Neil Gaiman, three more pairs of thigh high socks, and W. Graham Robertson’s memoirs coming in the mail from England.
But, I’m just glad it’s over.
