Seriously, Stop It
I used to have a co-worker (a vile and insufferable woman) who had a habit of assuming that everyone who didn’t fit her insane definition of normal was gay, and every time any of these people were female she would assume that they liked her. Seriously, she was not really attractive, she was a verbally abusive, psychopathic, back stabbing, crazy woman with mind numbingly bad judgement.

Christmas is over . . . at last
When you work in retail you soon discover that Christmas is the time of year when everyone can be as nasty as they like to retail workers, apparently. Especially the week before. The week before Christmas you can’t even turn around without demolishing someone’s favorite holiday.
It’s ridiculous. Everyone prepares for months in advance and then the day comes and it’s over...

Characters are fun.
When I make characters I like to start with one and then make it some foils, that way everyone is different and the conflict keeps going. And conflict is half the story, at least.

Seriously, I’ve been waiting all semester for this.
Work has been crazy. I’ve been training new people, never getting out on time, having a sinus infection, and losing much of my voice. Now I am free for three days.
I am going to draw a lot.

Teachers
I was homeschooled, so I haven’t met many, but for some reason every person I have ever met with a teaching degree was either ridiculously optimistic and slightly stupid, or extremely arrogant and condescending. Why is this?

Sword of the Stranger
Between classes (and because my favorite computer lab was taken over by another class) I am rewatching Sword of the Stranger. It isn’t a particularly original samurai movie, but it is very well animated, with some of the best fight scenes I have ever seen animated.
The three main characters (yes I include the dog) are interesting and really hold the story together. I wish I could have seen...

Warehouse
I have a tendency to spread stuff out (in other words make a mess), instead of putting it away, because when I put it “away” I tend to forget where away is.
Pathetic I know.
So I think instead of a house I need a giant empty warehouse to put all my living and drawing stuff in.

Beards
I have always sort of wished that I had a beard so that it could be delightfully unkempt when I became busy or stressed, but since I am a normal female all I can do is ignore my eyebrows for a bit, and that really doesn’t have the same effect.

Not Done Yet
I worked from 2:00PM to almost 10:00PM, but then the computer labs closed and I can’t do anything else until tomorrow. It’s due tomorrow.
Also I found out I have a sinus infection.
My head hurts. :(
Tomorrow is The Day
I have to go to the doctor to find out if I have pnuemonia, then I have to spend the rest of the day working on my final for web design. I will need some music so I am charging up my crusty old iPod which I haven’t used all semester. It’s gonna be crazy.

The Finals Week from Hell.
Cause at my workplace they know that finals week (right before Christmas too) is a great time to fire almost everyone experienced. Seriously, me and two others are all that is left. I might be better off if I had been fired.

Back from Class
I just got home from class and I have to draw tons of things in the next four days. I think I’ll put some here when I’m done with them. They will all be tea related, I’m making a tea website for my final project in my dreamweaver class. There will be a comic on making loose leaf tea. It’s going to be awesome—at least I hope so.

Lone Wolf and Cub
Nobody else ever seems to read older mangas. It’s sad because Lone Wolf and Cub is such a good comic. The Awesome Will Wear Off
This is the reference I used. Unfortunately my drawing is with my professor.
I’m sure when I get my drawing back I’ll be like “What is this? Where is that awesome picture I drew of Oscar Wilde?”
So yeah, I turned it in, Hopefully it will get a good grade. Too bad I couldn’t take a picture of it before I turned it in.

I am an art student at a community college, working as hard as I can to someday get a scholarship to go to a much larger art school.
